This week has been so much fun! It's moms last week of maternity leave, and dad took this week as vacation. Wednesday we went to Boston for the day. We walked around Fanuiel Hall and ate lunch there, then went to Boston Commons and the Public Gardens.  I slept in the stroller a lot but woke up to see lots of duckys in the pond. Mom and dad wanted to take me on the big Swan Boats, but since there is no shade, they opted to skip it. I was looking forward to the ride, but I understood.

After the Gardens, we went to the little sprinkler park in the Commons and mom and I went in. It was ok. Maybe in a few years I will enjoy it more!!

Then we walked to the Aquarium to see the outdoor seals. I saw my first seal up close. They are so cute!

The next day we met up with mom & dad's friend Alissa, and my girlfriend Mackenzie for breakfast. Afterwards, we went to the beach. What a crazy place - sooo many people. Mom and dad set up my little tent, and I just relaxed in there while they sat in the sand. A little bit later they took me to the water. So many more waves than in our pool at home!!  Mom and dad then took turns boogie boarding while I watched - looks like so much fun!!!  Then after, we packed up and walked down the main street. Got our pictures taken in a photobooth - I didn't like it, so I screamed the entire time. Pictures not that good.

Today mom and her friend Gina, and my other girlfriend Gabriella went to visit some old work friends. We had a great lunch together.

So now, I get to look forward to spending the next two weeks with Grandma and Grandpa while mom goes back to work. At least she will be home the whole week so I won't have to worry about missing her too much. I guess I am used to having her around all the time  =0)

So, now that I have told you about my fun week, take a look at the pictures!!

ps - speaking of pictures, check out my new profile picture - I just love smiling now!

I had fun visiting mom's work. Wednesday we went to Boston to visit her old co-workers (it was nice to go to Boston in mom's car and not an ambulance).  I was a little cranky since it was really hot walking to Summer Street. But after being changed and fed, I was happy to let anyone hold me. Then mom's old manager took us out to lunch. I slept thru the whole thing, but heard her telling daddy that it was a super yummy place and that when we go to the Childrens Museum in a few years we need to eat there. For anyone interested, it is Flour Bakery (http://flourbakery.com/); map below.

Today, she took me to her office in Rhode Island.  I met more new people. But today, I was in a much better mood and smiled at everyone who told me I was cute.  We had lunch with mom's manager. It was a fun afternoon.

I met a lot of people over the past two days, and I really enjoyed meeting them all!!

Location of Flour Bakery & Cafe in Boston - Mom highly recommends it to anyone in the area!!

Today was fun! I went to the movies with mom and grandma. It was a little awkward since my two girlfriends were both there - Mackenzie and Gabriella   =0)

We saw Crazy, Stupid, Love. It was good.  I hope I have better luck in the love area when I grow up.

After the movie, Gma went back to work, and Auntie Lisa and Cousin Sara came by, and we had a super fun photo shoot.  Check out the Pictures page for more random cuteness!

In a few hours, daddy will be home and we are going to go to the Spinners game - HOORAY BASEBALL!!

In the meantime, I will sleep on mommy until it's time to get ready to leave.  Bye Bye for now!!

It's been a while since mom posted anything, so I thought I would take over and fill you all in   =0)

I saw my first movie on July 14th - Horrible Bosses.  Thank goodness I slept thru the entire thing - mom said it wasn't kid appropriate.  That's why Showcase Cinema calls it "Baby Pictures for Moms" - babies cannot understand anything, and will sleep thru the movie with the nice dim lighting in the theater.  I saw Harry Potter the following Thursday with mom and Grandma - that was super fun as I stayed awake for the whole thing in Gma's arms and didn't make a peep!! This week is Friends with Benefits, and I am planning on going with a new friend, Gabriella - I look forward to meeting her (our moms work together).

I also went to my first restaurant on July 22nd. We went to Smokey Bones with a few of my parents friends. I slept the entire time. Super bored.

I certainly had my share if play dates, too.  Hung out with Mackenzie and Hannah R. one day (super time, of course), and the following Monday, mom took me to New Hampshire (my first state I visited) to hang out with Hannah C. and Cole.  I had lots of fun!  Cole kept a close eye on me when Hannah wanted to poke me.  I can't blame her for being curious - I am soooo cute!

Yesterday afternoon, after visiting my memere, I went to the Spinners game.  My God father had two extra tickets, so we went.  A man with a big camera came over to mom, and all of a sudden I was on the huge jumbo-tron in the outfield.  Everyone in the park went "Awwwww" at the same time - was really neat!

Tonight, we were supposed to go back to the Spinners for another game, but the rain is yucky, and we decided to skip this game.  No biggie, I will still get to be with mommy and daddy!

Enjoy the pictures below   =0)

I had so much fun at my parents friends' house!  Hannah and Mackenzie were there, so I had friends to play with (and by "play", I mean eat and nap with).  But before nap time, we all went swimming in the kiddie pool.  It was Mackenzie's and my first time in a pool.  The water was so warm and I loved it.  Dad took a bunch of pictures of us (get a load of my swimsuit below).

After swimming, the girls and I took a long nap.  The moms were grateful since they got to go into the big person pool and relax!!!

Later that night when we got home, cousin Jazz came over and went swimming in mom and dad's pool.  Mom and dad went in too - even though it was raining.  I just slept in my swing (don't worry, they brought out the baby monitor - but I was soooo tired and never bothered them).

After dinner, fireworks went off around the neighborhood and we enjoyed them from the back patio.  They were loud, but cool to watch.  Can't wait til next year!!!

Brady has been one busy fellow this Independence Day weekend! After a fun party Saturday afternoon and evening (where he was never put down the entire time), he got to relax and SLEEP ALL DAY Sunday (see proof below).  He only perked up to express his displeasure with Lee dipping his feet in the water at Heart Pond.

Today will be another fun day at another party. He'll be with his two girlfriends Hannah and Mackenzie. I know he can't wait!

Have a wonderful and safe 4th, everyone!!

We just wanted to say THANK YOU to all out family and friends who have been visiting Brady's site!  Your comments and personal messages mean so much to us!!

Please continue to visit often   =0)

Love,
Lee, Kelly, and Brady

Last week Brady got to meet more of his family.  Lee's sister, husband, and nieces moved back to New Hampshire from Florida.  Two nieces (Tyra and Jazmine) spent a few nights with us and really helped me out around the house.  Brady enjoyed every minute with them!

Brady had his ultra sound today for hip dysplasia.  Although he passed the APGAR screening at birth (ironically), his pedi wanted to have an ultra sound on his hips since I had dysplasia when I was born.  Apparently, it is hereditary.

With the exception of peeing all over the exam table, he was very content, and cooperated with the tech and the radiologist.  Although the test was about a week earlier than they would have wanted, she was pleased with what she saw, and hos no concerns about his hip development.  At least he will not have to sport a stunning harness for 6 months like I did!!   =0)

We had a wonderful Father's Day yesterday!  Nana (aka Great-gram) and my parents came up to spend the day with Brady.  Also, because I wanted to see my father, too!

It was wonderful watching Lee play with Brady all day long - considering it is his first Father's Day.  It was truly a special day for him.

The day was topped off with my first official dip in the pool... well, maybe not a dip, but floated around since it was just a little too chilly later that afternoon!!  I can't wait to get Brady in the pool - he could be the next Michael Phelps    =0)
